Visitors to the School
We support and encourage parents and interested public to visit our school. However, to ensure student safety, ALL VISITORS on the school site MUST wear identification so that they are identifiable to students, staff, and parents. If you are volunteering, visiting in a classroom, or attending a field trip, you must first sign-in at the office. You will be given a VISITOR tag to wear. Please return to the office to sign out when you are finished. In any emergency situation, we must be able to account for the whereabouts of all students, staff and visitors, on-site or off-site. At this time, visitors to the school should call ahead first to make an appointment. In addition, we are asking parents to wait until after school hours to use the playgrounds as we have a number of classes engaged in outside learning throughout the day.
In circumstances where the behaviour of individuals is detrimental or hazardous to the welfare of the students and/or staff, all School Board employees are authorized to direct any person to leave the premises.
