2024 – 2025 SCHOOL YEAR
The District is committed to ensuring that no school age student will be denied educational opportunities due to financial hardship. Parents and guardians unable to pay some or all of a school fee are invited to speak to their child’s teacher, school counsellor, or school principal.
Grades 1 to 5
École Lord Tweedsmuir Elementary School is giving parents of our Grade 1 to 5 students the opportunity to order school supplies online directly from School Start. Ordering the school supplies through School Start will ensure quality control and will also save you time and money. You will be able to order your child’s school supplies now or over the summer and have them delivered directly to your home in time to start the new school year.

Please note the following:
Part A: The essential pack with items chosen by your teacher/school. This comes as a package deal with all items listed included. Items cannot be changed or omitted.
Part B: Students will also require items in Part B. We understand that these are items which sometimes can be reused year to year. You may bring them from home and/or you can choose to purchase any needed item(s) by adding them to your Pack order.
**Part B items should be ordered at the SAME TIME as the Part A Pack.
If you opt to purchase school supplies on your own, please refer to the attached supplies lists to ensure you are purchasing the correct items.
KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
For Kindergarten supplies, we arrange a bulk order from School Start which encompasses all the school supplies your child will need for the year. These supplies include all stationery, art supplies, notebooks, and tissues. The requested fee for the Kindergarten supplies will become available on School Cash Online early in the school year. STUDENT AGENDAS/PLANNERS
Grades 1 to 5
Some classes for students in Grades 1 – 5 will have an opportunity to purchase a 2024/2025 School Planner/Agenda at the beginning of the school year at a cost of 5.00 per agenda/planner. You will receive a message once your child’s class has been confirmed.
STUDENT RECORDERS
Grades 4 & 5
Students in grades 4 & 5 will have the opportunity to participate in recorder classes as part of our music program. You child is welcome to bring their own recorder to school, borrow one from the school or purchase one at a cost of 5.00 per recorder. You will receive a message once classes have been set in the Fall.
